This uninterruptible power supply (UPS) was built for the Observer 4120 Hybrid Video Recorder (HVR). Voltage spikes and drops are leveled out to create a steady and clean electrical current to the HVR, protecting valuable storage devices from corruption in harsh mobile environments. In the event of complete power loss, the UPS allows the HVR to gracefully shut down, protecting recorded video and data integrity.
